I am taking this publicly on the forum now to get other people's opinions.

So, the story is that I spotted two very similar Corsa Blu Ferrari 488 Spiders: one in Greenwich, and one in New Canaan. Autogespot thinks it's the same driver. Do these people look anything like each other?
It's clearly two different cars with two different drivers.

Question for Autogespot mods/admins: will the spotting criteria (make, model, country, city, etc) ever be updated to English? Also, currently whenever someone posts a comment on a spot, you cannot click on their username to go to their profile. Is there any chance this will be changed? On the old site, you could click on a person's username and it would take you directly to their profile page, so I don't see why it cannot be done.

Is a Morgan Plus 4 accepted on here? Or does the bogus (and pointless) classic car rule apply to it but not other Morgans?

Hey just a quick question if anyone is still active in English section, how come Mercedes-AMG C43 AMG is not spot-worthy? :o
C43 competes against cars like the Audi S4 and BMW 340i and isn't really a proper AMG.

Are there any rules against mass uploading?
I just want to make sure this comment was seen by those in charge.

There has been a user from the U.S. who has literally flooded the site with spots from the LA/Beverly Hills area. I realize Autogespot is a site to share photos of cars that you spot in the wild, but there reaches a point - such as when you post 149 cars over the course of only four days - that you have stopped sharing your photos and are just advertising/spamming.

Four or five uploads a day is one thing, 67 is another.

Also, AG seems to be running reeeeeeally slowly. It takes forever for the drop-down menus to appear, and when I just tried uploading a McLaren, the upload practically stalled. I don't seem to be having this problem on other sites.

Are there any rules against mass uploading? It's a bit annoying to post something, then see it get snowed over by 12+ uploads by the same user, especially when many of the cars in the mass upload aren't even very exotic (considering the area they were spotted in). I mean, I don't have a problem with three, four, or maybe five posts per day by the same user, but when someone just dumps a a sh*tload of uploads on here, then doesn't even bother to check out or comment on the photos he just buried, it seems like he is taking advantage of the site.

Hi, can we please have a separate category for photoshoots because I am sick of losing SOTD to planned photoshoots when I actually go out and spot cars randomly.
I second that idea. I don't necessarily mind the photoshoots, but it is a little bit disingenuous to award SOTD to someone who had a predetermined time and date to shoot the car.

No, no interest for those cars here. We tried a classic section, but took it offline due to lack of interest.
The problem I have with that is the word "classic", which is applied subjectively.  When does the classic car era start (pre-1990? pre-1980? pre-1970?), and what constitutes a classic?  Why is a 1985 BMW M6 "classic" - meaning it can't be posted on AG - and a 1985 Ferrari 308 GTS "not a classic" - meaning it can be posted on AG?  None of this makes any sense.

What is going on with AG?  It's crashed my browser three or four times now and won't let me view any spots.  Whenever I click on any of them, I am redirected to the AG home page.

Also, I agree with Rivitography.  It's pretty weird how some older cars are permitted on here, but others aren't.  Like why is every Ferrari, regardless of age, allowed to be posted on here, but other older cars like the E24 BMW M6, C4 Audi S6 (especially the Avant models), and etc aren't?  I see new M6s and S6s everywhere; they're not that special to me so I don't ever bother snapping any pics of them.  Then when I see an original M6 (which happens MAYBE twice a year) and do take some pics of it, I find that I am not allowed to post them on here!  It just doesn't make any sense how only the newer models of M6s, S6s, Quattroportes, and etc are permitted on here, but the older (and much, much rarer) examples are excluded.

Am I the only one who thinks that photoshoots should not be allowed on the site as car spottings? I don't see how it's any more of a "spotting" than taking pictures of a car at a car show. Maybe I'm alone in this mindset, but I think it's unfair for users who put a lot of time and effort into spotting to lose SOTD to someone who who is posting cars that are clearly not legitimately spotted in the wild.

I saw in an earlier post that a user had blanked out the plates of his spottings. I just wanted to confirm that it is okay to cover the plates as long as I include the plate in the appropriate form, because one of the admin's responses gave me the impression that it was fine to cover the plates. I really just don't like to post plates from other peoples' cars. :)
Well....???

Gotta agree with Rivitography here. There is no way ANYTHING should have beat that CTR-3 (maybe something like an FXX K, but that's it).

Is a Nissan Skyline R32 postable? They were never sold in the U.S. originally, but now that they are over 25 years old they can be imported, so a handful have started to trickle over. They are very rare here but I do not see a category for it despite there being categories for the R34 and R35 models.

*ES mod voice* "RARE DOES NOT EQUAL EXOTIC!!!!1!"

They should be allowed here.
Lol. I just want to see a response from an AG mod so that if they say yes and then delete it, I can lambaste them about it. Haha
